Employability Fair

Challenge

Casa Mendes Gonçalves organized an Employability Fair focused on attracting talent, representing the first direct collaboration between a private company and the Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) in Portugal. Beyond the strategic idea behind this partnership, we created the graphic identity and communication tone for this event.

Idea

“Are you in or staying out?” With this tagline, the challenge was launched on social media, and for each role, unique characters were created, adding a humorous and personalized touch. Visually, these characters were designed using the distinctive graphic base of Casa Mendes Gonçalves. Bringing each role to life—from the Warehouse Sherlock to the Mixing D3, and from the Packaging Ninja to the Innovation Da Vinci—an interactive format was created that promised to leave a positive impression on candidates in a relaxed environment, moving beyond the typical formalities of an interview. This was all made possible through the dedication and involvement of a diverse team at Casa Mendes Gonçalves.

Result

On October 20th, at the company’s headquarters in Golegã, more than 300 people from across the country attended to compete for over 20 job openings in various fields. This turnout and the submission of over 100 resumes clearly demonstrated interest in the event. Far from staying out, the Employability Fair is here to stay.
